I love working in the Public Sector with a diverse range of individuals, I have a driven work ethic and proven ability to meet deadlines individually as part of a team. Working alongside the Department of Health since 1983 in various roles, I have built on my capabilities to always maintain professional and positive relationships with my managers and peers. Being motivated and driven, I can support my own team and colleagues through an ever-changing environment with a positive attitude. Housing Services O Department of Human Services, Office of Housing I have served as a Housing Services Officer with the Office of Housing for over 20 years. During this time, I have also filled in as a senior Housing Services Officer and a TeaHousing Services Officer Department of Human Services, Office of Housing I have served as a Housing Services Officer with the Office of Housing for over 20 years. During this time, I have also filled in as a senior Housing Services Officer and a Team Manager. Both positions have allowed me to expand my experience and knowledge to mentor staff and demonstrate leadership and make daily judgements. Responsibilities: Assisting Public Housing Clients in gaining access to housing. Assisting clients in gaining an understanding of the housing benefits that are available to them, ensuring residents live in an environment that is safe and secure. Familiar with other community and government agencies relevant to the client group to ensure seamless client service delivery working collaboratively with other agencies. Attend staff meetings and provide feedback. Provide housing related support to clients with disabilities to enable them to maintain their tenancies and to achieve their aspirations for independent living. Encourage and support tenants to live as fully and independently as possible within the local community, providing information, emotional and practical support and training as required. Liaise with other stakeholders, internally and externally, to meet the needs of clients and achieve the best outcome for all. Disability Support Worker, Ludda care Pty Ltd – 24/10/2022 to Present I have worked as a Disability Support worker since October with families with various disabilities. My role includes providing personal support, cleaning, cooking and assisting the client to ensure they can continue to live independently in their home with the support and assistance I can provide. I have completed the following certificates: NDIS orientation certificate First Aid/CPR Training certificate Infection Control Training certificate NDIS worker screening clearance I am also currently enrolling into the Introduction to the National Disability Scheme
