I come from a large family of 7, myself being the youngest of 5. my childhood was filled with memorable family outings and visits from extended family. I now have my own family of 6 being a mother 4 children. Most weekends my home is busy with extra people enjoying the comforts of my home, with my children's partners spending time at our family home. I have spent my life attending to others, whether it be my own 4 children, or to the past 12 years working with children with special needs within Kindergartens and Primary Schools or just generally looking after children in Childcare. The support and acceptance my home provides to myself and others has helped us all through many issues, life events and despair which I feel is why visitors feel comfortable and relaxed at our family home. Building acceptance and confidence within ourselves ensuring that residence part take and assist or have the opportunity to assist within their limitations. Whether it be meal preparation or participate in baking something. We can then sit back and have a cuppa together while perhaps playing cards or a board game, watch a movie or sit outside and chat together while enjoying our freshly baked goodies.
