I love people and especially getting to know new people and connecting on passions/interests, both that are shared or just watching someone share their passion and see their eyes light up. I grew up in a big family and being the oldest I have helped raise my siblings which has developed my nurturing side and has taught me how to care for someone but also in what ways they need me to support them. Having worked as a snorkel instructor and surf instructor has taught me excellent management skills but also how to keep someone engaged and having fun. It has also enabled me to know how to make people feel comfortable when they are out of their comfort zone. Whilst working as an instructor I've had to aid people with disabilities and have loved to see their faces light up when they finally master something they thought they couldn't do. I'm really passionate about everything marine related, I love going for a walk on the beach or around rock pools and exploring what creatures and plants are growing, identifying them, and watching their behavior. I believe nature is the best classroom! I also love to cook and bake at home and enjoy making a yummy meal with a friend.
