About
Hey there! My name is Jess :)) I am a 20 year old with a big passion to give back to the world! I have had my fair share of personal experiences with people that struggle with health conditions and or impairments, I have parents that both have serious mental health issues which lead to me raising myself and siblings since the age of 15. I have friendly younger brother that has severe dyslexia and also struggles with ADHD, and I will admit times can be tough but that's what life is about, ups and downs. I have recently experienced working with primary school kids to better my understanding. In that role I worked with around 30-60 kids at a time and helped out with regulating behaviours and gain experience with mental health plans and psychological health issues such as; ASD, ADD, ADHD, PTSD in children and behavioural issues. As the result of these events I have become the best me I could possibly be, I'm very confident in providing the support needed and also very excited to make bonds with everyone I meet and help out! My personality traits consist of: - loving nature - humorous - amazing listener - giving good advice (only if asked for) - comforting shoulder - very understanding - absolutely love a chat and meet new people!
