About

I'm currently working as a support worker with rehab clients most time, I'd like to become a social carer to expend my career path, learn more skills and gain more work experience. During my work with the current employer, there were several clients who approached to me asking if I was interested in providing ongoing services for them at the end of their services with my current company. So I though I could try something else and establish long term relationship with fixed clients since we both enjoyed the time together. I'm a sincere person with good nature, can always set up rapport with clients. I guess it would contribute to the role of social carer. I'm a very enegetic person, love to share passions about life. I was a professional language teacher for over ten years, so I have enough patience to teach new skills. I'm a good cook, my current job requires me to provide cooking and meal preparation services to the clients sometimes and I always have received positve comments from them. I'm a big fan of movies, can bring up a topic to chat about anytime. On weekends, if weather allows, I'd like to be out with my friends soaking in the nature, either hiking, jogging or taking a walk, to obsorb energy, to refresh minds, to boost good vibes. I truly believe encouraging clients to do some light exercises or taking them to a nice walk on regular basis would definately benefit their bodies, minds and souls. And I have experiences on transporting clients for activities, running grocery shoppings as well. Last but not least, I'm a good listener, willing to hear out what clients would like to say and have a lovely chat with them. I understood sometimes all they need is some companions rather than helps with houseworks or meal preparations.
