l love working with a wide range of people. I have been a classroom, art and Intervention teacher for over 10 years and love being able to make a difference in people’s lives. I was an integration Aide for 10 years before that in primary and secondary schools. I am always interested in learning new things and watching the joy in others experiencing the same. I was a volunteer firefighter for many years and experienced the joys of serving my community. I have enormous patience and compassion. I have dealt with great grief in my life and am comfortable walking alongside those who are grieving or sad or feeling lonely. I have been so lucky to have people walk alongside me in hard times, and would like to give back in some small way. I am able to listen without judgement and with empathy. I love baking, painting, drawing, photography, tutoring, proofreading and editing, cats and dogs. I would love the chance to bring joy into your life as well. ^& ^&I would love to teach someone how to draw or paint, give them the knowledge of the tools and equipment needed and the confidence to take risks and experiment until they find a style that fills them with joy and pride. I would take the initial process step by step teaching the skills and then become their cheerleader as they experiment and grow in their talent. ^&
