About
As a current nursing student I have always had a passion for helping others and I feel it is my nature to want to make a positive difference to others and their lives. My strengths are my caring and kind nature that allows me to provide comfort, support and make others feel cared about and I feel these strengths help me to connect with people and would make me a good social carer. While I study nursing and continue to grow a passion for helping others I feel eager to put that passion into action and so I feel motivated to start making a difference and becoming a social carer would be that first step to making a difference. I have many passions and hobbies including helping others in any way I can, spending time with my partner, family and friends and I especially have a big passion for cooking and physical health and wellbeing Through my bachelor of nursing studies I have experienced placements in various areas of care including mental health and aged care which have allowed me to obtain skills and attributes that give me a great understanding on these areas of care as well as skills to connect with and understand people in these situations and provide comfort, support and care in the most appropriate way that they need. And I am motivated to continue to grow these peoples skills with further experience.
