I have a relaxed, caring and cheerful personality and enjoy being able to help others while offering support and encouragement. I've worked in people and care-oriented positions for most of my life, as well as volunteering in a number of capacities (from disability support, assisting teaching English to migrants, Foodbank and Meals on Wheels) - both home based and overseas, along with raising three children. I would descibe myself as generous, respectful, and a good listener. I love meeting new people and discovering new interests. Having a family member with disabilities I am aware of and have experienced the challenges faced on a daily basis, and the difference good support can make to a situation or outcome.^& ^&I would love to be involved with someone in assisting their integration into a new community, with language learning skills and general people and socialisation/support skills.^&
