About

I have never been one of those people to know since their childhood what they 'wanted to be when they grew up.' However, this did not mean I did not know the motivations and things that I wanted to achieve with my life. Ever since I can remember, I knew that I wanted to help make a difference in the lives of individuals. My mother has recently opened her own business as an 'End of Life Doula' and she has been one of my key influences into becoming the person I am today. I like to think of myself as a selfless person, with great interpersonal skills. I strive to help others and know how hard it is to feel alone in this busy world. To know that my role would be to bring joy and aid into another's life would be a dream come true and I could not think of a more fulfilling position. I am a naturally bubbly and welcoming person and love to meet new people and I am a great listener, who loves to listen to the stories of other's. Furthermore, my last recent job was as an Activity Instructor at an England camp, which I found incredibly rewarding as I frequently met new people and children, and had the joy of learning about them and providing comfort, fun and great experiences for them!^& ^&With creativity fuelling my life, I adore arts and crafts and more specifically, I really enjoy working with mixed media to produce physical collages! It would be so amazing to have the opportunity to show another individual within the community how I enjoy (for example) layering different pieces of patterned paper, or to demonstrate which stickers I would add and where I would place them, to make the artwork feel more personal to myself and who I am. I would find so much joy in giving another individual the opportunity to create art for themselves, that feels personal to them and that brings them joy, or helps them express their emotions and (if allowed), I could even bring in some of my own paper for them to use (I have a lot!). ^&
