As an experienced support worker, I have worked with people who have chronic pain and mobility issues, people that are neurodivergent and people with dementia. I am kind, a great listener, considerate and pride myself on my efficiency and using my initiative to get tasks done. I recently resigned from my role as a personal assistant at the Alfred Hospital in the addiction and mental health area as I am wanting to help people and provide support. I am very organised, can help with life administration if needed, can assist with shopping, provide efficient home help and warm, compassionate support. I can also tidy up and get you to your appointments on time. As an aside - I am very good at spotting a bargain when out shopping! In my spare time I love to walk, see movies, read, do puzzles, cook, spend time with family and friends and tend to my flower pots and small vegetable garden. I’m also teaching myself Spanish at beginner level. I enjoy arts and crafts and am currently knitting jumpers for abandoned lambs and making pouches for joeys.
