About
It has been my desire to contribute to making other peoples lives better than the point they are in when I first meet them. I am passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals in life and more so support them on their road to becoming independent. I am a trained support worker with certificate of disability services and certificate IV in disability. I have an experience of two years as a disability support worker. My background is from extended family which gave me an experience in supporting one another and had an opportunity of learning skills in domestic assistance. I enjoy cooking and taking care of people and more so listening to them and feeling their need and hence supporting them meet those needs.^& ^&I will have a chat with the person and get to understand what he or she likes. If my skill is not in his/her likes, I would discuss it with him and ask for his oppinion about joining me in doing the activity. If happy to learn then I engage him and we do the activity together carefully transfering the skill to him by training him/her. example cooking; we cook togther from ingridients preparation to cooking and serving. ^&
