About

I love to listen to other people's stories and build connections with them. I believe one can learn and grow tremendously from helping others; whether it is by listening, doing activities together, or simply from trying to understand them. I was born and grew up in Indonesia; and came from a big Asian family where families and communities are such an important value in our life. We always look out after each other and help whenever needed, hence we have great support system for ourselves. However, in Australia, I find we have a different life style of living, different way as a community, and a lot of people do not have the support system they need at times. And as a migrant, I understand how stressful, sad, discouraged, and losing hope can one feel without the right support. Thus, I would like to offer my help and support, in any way I can. Some of my hobbies are reading, travelling, walking, and enjoying food. I, especially, have high regard for life and sharing happiness. We can read a book and discuss our perspectives; swapping stories or ideas about travelling, or maybe plan one for future references; appreciating nature and our own health being by exercising outdoor; and most definitely happy to share joy and laughter over a meal or cooking/baking.
