My name is Dianne Hughes, I am 54 years of age and live in Hervey Bay, Queensland. My husband and I moved here approximately 18mths ago as this was our semi-retirement goal. We were living in Gympie previously for 28 years raising our four children, whom now have all flown the coup so to speak and we now have one living overseas in Texas and the other three here in Queensland. My career history has been in the administration field, working for both small and large organizations and businesses. I have worked over the years with aged care at a nursing home in Tennant Creek, both Gympie and Tennant Creek Hospitals, community organization called Cooloola Human Services Network, a Psychologist, an Occupational Therapist and as well as a medical receptionist for a Doctors Surgery. I recently left my role at Polleys Coaches in Gympie after 8.5years due to moving town. I am currently establishing myself with my own business (Paradise Bookkeeping & Admin) here in Hervey Bay, working remotely, to provide bookkeeping, data entry and admin support for small businesses/sole traders, individuals and community organisations. I have my own ABN, insurance and remote office setup at my home address. My hobbies include beach walking, cycling, helping out at Kids Church and I also have recently connected with an older lady here in Hervey Bay helping her get back into life with doing some beach walking, she recently lost her husband only in April last year. My work skills include: Diploma of Accounting, Excellent computer skills and very familiar with MS Office programs and accounting packings (Xero, Quickbooks/Reckon Accounts), Excellent typing skills 93wpm/99% accuracy, Good literacy and excellent numeracy skills, Work well with other professionals from various organizations and private businesses, Ability to comply with Privacy and Confidentiality Guidelines, and Extensive customer service experience.
