I believe I would make a great Social Carer as I enjoy other people's company and can make sure the people I'm around are smiling and happy. Over my working career I've met and maintained many friendly relationships with my customers who range from young to old (mainly the older as they think I'm witty). I also believe that the position of a Social Carer is the ideal employment for myself to maintain interaction with numerous types of people. My communication and people skills will be a great addition as a social support worker to ensure activities and tasks are carried out in a fun, loving and caring environment. Communication and people skills may not be an academic qualification but I believe a friendly nature will ensure the session will be enjoyable even if its just a walk in the park or retail therapy. I love watching and playing sports and getting outside in the fresh air, especially gardening and swimming. Would love to increase my love for the ocean by learning to surf this summer as its been on my bucket list since I was a much younger child. My knowledge of arts and craft activities have increased over the last 3 years engaging fun activities with my 2 toddlers.
