About
Hello, my name is Sarah. I love adventure i.e. going places, trying new activities, meeting people, etc. I also find it rewarding to support people to live their best lives. As the eldest of five and mama to one, I've grown up being responsible and caring for others. I'm confident in doing household work/chores and love to be involved in my community. I often volunteer to organise activities and events for young people through a local church i.e. social and team-building events; a week-long camp; regular skills training workshops; and have had many opportunities to mentor, listen to and support the young people individually and collectively. I gained good communication and people skills over my 7 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist. This is a profession that I'm currently taking a break from while pursuing other goals. In my leisure time, I like to read or listen to a audiobook, watch a good movie, go on a scenic walk/hike, picnic, cook, spend time in nature and with my family/friends.
