About

I'm driven by a deep-seated passion for helping others and making a positive impact in people's lives. This motivation stems from various factors: - Desire for Social Justice: I'm deeply committed to advocating for equality and fairness in society. Becoming a social worker allows me to actively contribute to addressing systemic issues and promoting social justice. - Fulfillment in Making a Difference: I find immense fulfillment in knowing that my work directly improves the lives of individuals, families, and communities. The opportunity to be a source of support and empowerment for those in need is incredibly rewarding to me. - Personal Experience: I have experienced challenges or adversity in my own life, which cultivated empathy and a strong desire to support others facing similar situations. As for why I believe I meet all the expectations of a good support worker: - Empathy and Compassion: I possess a natural ability to empathize with others and genuinely care about their well-being due to being born into a large family. I understand the importance of approaching each person with empathy, respect, and kindness. - Strong Communication Skills: I am skilled at communicating effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Clear and empathetic communication is important in building trust and rapport with clients and collaborating with colleagues and other professionals. - Problem-Solving Abilities: I am great at identifying challenges and finding practical solutions. I am confident in my ability to problem-solve and adapt to different circumstances. - Commitment to Continuous Learning: I am interested in ongoing learning and professional development. I am committed to expanding my knowledge and skills to better serve those I work with. What do I do in my spare time: - Gym: I enjoy going to the gym 3-5 days a week, I feel strong and refreshed after every session - Midwifery: I chose to become Midwifery Student of Griffith University due to having a strong passion for taking care of individuals, also I love helping women in need and being apart of bringing new life into the world. FUN FACT: I helped deliver my brother's baby! I have also gained various skills and experience. - Family: I am very family orientated. As one of 7 siblings, I have learnt to be very patient and organised. All though my family live back in NSW, this doesn't stop us from talking almost everyday.
