Hello 🌼 My name is Michelle. I am 43 years old and I currently work as a lead educator in a childcare centre 4 days per week. I have worked in childcare for the last 12 years and I really love my job, and working with children. I have my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis Certificates, NDIS screening check and my Blue Card. I have extensive experience with children who are neurodivergent, have additional needs and learning difficulties. I am also trained in Montessori Education. I am however, not limiting myself to only work with children. I am open to help or assist anyone of any age who would like to have me. I have life experience and work experience helping children, teens and adults with ASD, ADHD, DID, GDD, depression and severe anxiety disorders. I have a deep understanding of neurodivergence while understanding everyone is unique. I will always learn. If you have an illness, disability or difference.. I will educate myself to understand you the best I can. I will listen to what you need, want and feel. I will be there to support you, and help with what you need. I love to learn new skills and hobbies and I am definitely open to learning new skills and hobbies together! I can also teach any of my hobbies or interests if you would like to learn any. I have lots of interests including baking and cake decorating. I have worked as a Baker and Pastry Chef for 10 years with a special interest for making wedding cakes and specialty cakes. I also like to cook. I can help with cooking and preparing healthy meals and cleaning. I have my Food Safety Supervisor Certificate via the Australian Institute of Food Safety as I worked as a cook in a childcare centre for 4 years. I love creating cheap healthy meals. I also love art and crafts! I love to sketch, do fabric painting, draw in digital art, paint pottery and I like to restore old furniture. I always love to learn new art skills, and I love to learn and try new art or craft projects. I love the mountains and the beach and I love winter! I don't do well in the heat. I would love to one day visit snow (wherever the snow may be). I am calm, respectful, open minded, considerate, patient and supportive. I am a mum to one teenager who is the best person in the world, and we have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who completes our little family. I am currently available some Saturdays and Mondays.
