Originally from a small Queensland town, I moved to Brisbane in 2014 and became a personal trainer to help people enjoy exercise and feel empowered. My work has evolved to incorporate mental health support, particularly for clients with ADHD and ASD. This experience, combined with caring for a family member with mental and physical health issues, has shaped my empathetic approach and desire to make a positive difference in others' lives. As a support worker/social carer, I bring strong listening skills and a commitment to helping others achieve their full potential. My background in fitness is complemented by a passion for powerlifting and a diverse range of hobbies including hiking, camping, fossicking, and various DIY projects. I'm known for my 'can-do' attitude and love of new experiences. I enjoy outdoor activities, watching movies, arts and crafts, video gaming, and reading. My varied interests reflect my goal to experience as much as possible in life. As a deep thinker, I'm always seeking ways to improve myself and the lives of those around me. This combination of practical skills, empathy, and a thirst for knowledge makes me well-suited for a career in social care.
