I love working with people and having worked in aged care for 25 years and also coming from a large family, I have a lot of experience in many areas, for example assisting people of all ages, particularly the elderly, with their personal care and activities of daily living. I was born in Geelong in Victoria and raised in a small coastal town called Torquay on the Great Ocean Road , so I love the ocean and the outdoors and everything it has to offer. I began my career as a Dental Nurse and moved on to Nursing ,working as a State Enrolled Nurse at Geelong hospital . Followed by many years working in Aged care facilities throughout the Geelong region and spending my final twelve years at Anglesea Aged Care on the Great Ocean Road, which I loved. I am compassionate , empathetic, reliable and trustworthy and through many years of experience, believe that everyone has a story and I am interested to listen , without judgement and meet and connect with different people. I do enjoy cooking and spending time in the kitchen , preparing and creating delicious meals with family and friends and would love to cook and to share ideas and recipes with someone in the community.
