I am passionate about my chosen career field because the principles and values of social work connect with my own values. I wholeheartedly believe in the good of everyone, and I feel that social work allows me to connect with, mentor and help others achieve their goals. I strive to apply these high standards and ethics in my career. I also love working in the community and helping others. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In my spare time I go to live music and the movies, I also follow the Sydney Roosters in Rugby league team and go to the games. My husband and I have been foster carers for six years, This experience has given me the tools to help, understand and communicate with young people living with trauma I have worked in the aged care sector caring for people with dementia, I helped with transport to doctors appointments, shopping, hairdressers or barbers etc. I find it extremely rewarding working with the elderly. I have owned commercial cleaning business with my husband for 19 years servicing the Illawarra.
