I wanted to become a social carer because I genuinely care for people. It gives me great joy when I’m able to lift people’s spirits up, give humanity a reason to smile and when I’m connecting with people in the community. I am passionate about being a husband, a father and a friend. I enjoy doing sprints at the beach and jumping in the cold water afterwards. I also love paddle boarding, bush walking and organising fun activities when catching up with friends. I’m a creative person and I express it through cooking, art activities and facilitating fun/positive experiences with my children and little people/their families who I work with. I was born in the Philippines and moved to Australia in 2011. I successfully completed my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care and worked as a preschool teacher/educational leader. In 2022, I decided to work specifically in the disability sector where I’m currently working as an Early Intervention Therapist/Key worker at Noah’s Inclusion Services. Capacity building is one of the key aspects of my job that I enjoy the most and I would love to explore this passion more within the NDIS space.
