About

Hi, my name is Colleen and I've recently relocated to Umina Beach at the Central Coast. I am currently available Mon-Sundays due to the end of a full time role during the week. I have my own transport and am willing to travel within a radius of 40km (transport fees to be discussed for 20km+ areas). I come from a pretty big Irish family, with an abundance of personalities amongst the many. I have family members with aspergers, personality disorders and have many relations in the nursing and care sector. I am very comfortable in all walks of life. I am a country girl at heart, I really enjoy outdoor activities like camping and hiking. I especially love spending time getting to know new people and experiencing new things. Simple things, like having a chat over a coffee or going to the movies, sounds like a nice way to spend time with people, or bringing them to an important appointment, or making their kitchen all shiny and clean whilst getting to know them. I emigrated to Australia a couple of years ago and gave up my law career for love! I have just got married to my dreamboat of a man in April 2018 and have two lovely dogs Dexter & Pops; so my life here In Australia is so much more fulfilling than it was in my 20s in England in the legal financial sector. That took some courage to bow out from, but it worked out! Now I would like to spend my time doing something community based, that works around a flexible time frame and where I can bring my personal skills to the fore and engage with people I would probably not get the opportunity to meet otherwise. A favourite quote of mine is: "A light heart lives longest" (Old Irish proverb)
