I have been in hospitality all my life and feel like I would like to have a career change, and my skills with supporting the elderly clientelle would be of great value to my future clients at Like Family. I am a very empathetic, caring person and would like to bring some joy into peoples lives that are in need of a little care and attention, I am patient and motivated and feel I would be an asset to your team. I am also eager to learn something new and to create special bonds with the elderly as they are so often treated poorly. I also love working with children and creating a special bond. I feel a lot of elderly people just need someone to listen, someone to keep them company and I am that person. My passion is creating jewellery and painting. I love to cook and am very interested in living a healthy lifestyle. I love being outdoors, especially by the lake or the ocean. I also love doing jigsaws and going out for coffee, and spending time with the older generations and hearing their stories. My cafe was famous in the local area for creating a little hub of elderly customers who would visit daily to chat and socialise with each other and as I made it a mission of mine to learn their names and their favourite drinks and treats! I became famous in the local area for creating a hub for the elderly to congregate and get looked after.
