I would make a great social carer because I love looking after people and helping anyone and everyone! I enjoy learning about other people, their loves, hobbies and interests. I grew up with 5 siblings (me being the second youngest) and so my household was never dull. It was always full of love, noise, sport, animals, and people. I loved having 4 other siblings to help look after me, love me, and to build relationships with. This has allowed me to build relationships and bond with people of many ages. Ever since I was young I knew I wanted to work in a hospital and study nursing. I started studying Nursing last year and am now going into my second year and loving it. I love how rewarding it is to work with vulnerable people or people who benefit from your care and assistance. After a few placements in a variety of hospitals I knew it was the right occupation for me. I am also a high school sports coach and casual saxophone tutor. I coach netball, touch footy, and rugby. I love teaching people how to play sports or music and watching them grow not only as a player but as a person. I play all sports but touch football and rugby in particular, I have also played the alto saxophone since i was 8. I think many of these features, skills and loves in my life will be very helpful for becoming a social carer. I have a large variety of skills and experience that I would love to teach and share. I would love to teach someone how to play lots of different sports such as soccer or touch football. I have also been a music student since i was young so would love to share my knowledge with musical instruments. I love playing card games and board games. I also studied textiles in school meaning i have experience with fashion, embroidery and all things arts and crafts.
