About
I want to become a social carer for a long list of reasons. I am currently working in aged care but have recently relocated to the Illawarra. When looking for new employment, I have shifted towards being a social carer instead due to the ratio of staff to residents in aged care. Often I am finding myself 1:10-15 which feels unsatisfying due to wanting to build a closer relationship and get to know residents better. I desire to make a positive impact and improve well being. I am passionate for helping others and find it very rewarding. I also love the sense of community. Some of my hobbies include puzzles, quizzes and board games. My overall favourite puzzle is sudoku. My passion is nursing in which I am attending University of Wollongong in July to do a Bachelor in Nursing.
