About
I want to become a social carer, to share my skills, kindness, co. passion with others. I want to support the people I care for, to persue their goals and be empowered to live their best lives, however it looks, for each individual. I like variety in my work, and believe being a social carer will provide me with many different opportunities. I believe I will be a good carer because I have lived experiences of disability, trauma and also being supported to make choices for my own best life. I love to sew and get crafty. I sew for Charity and jointly coordinate a creating for charity group. I enjoying shopping for bargains, especially for my grandchildren. I enjoy travel and have been overseas three times. I like colouring in mandalas..i enjoy study but it can be challenging balancing work, hobbies, family times and study. I can knit and crochet, and don't klmind trting new crafts.. I am a lived experiences, late diagnosed autisticADHD woman. Ive raised 4 children, now young adults, with the same diagnosis as me and one being PDA. I have been a foster carer, prior to 2011 but currently not registered.
