Hello! I'm a passionate individual who thrives on building meaningful relationships with those I work with. I have my certificate III in Early Childhood. Having spent a couple of years in childcare, I've developed a profound love for teaching and supporting children. My experiences in fast-paced environments, such as a busy childcare setting has equipped me with the ability to manage high pressure situations. Alongside working in childcare I am also at Macquarie University working towards my honours degree in psychology. I've always been intrigued by the uniqueness of every individual. I genuinely believe that everyone has a distinct story and an extraordinary quality that makes them special. This perspective has always driven me to lend a listening ear and understand each persons unique lives. My journey into support and care began in high school when my uncle suffered a stroke. Witnessing his challenging journey to recovery and the immense support he received left an indelible mark on me. The gratitude I felt for those who helped him has lead me to wanting to be that support person for others in their times of need or to be a friend. On a personal note, being an only child has blessed me with close relationships with my parents and grandparents. The invaluable time spent with my grandparents has fostered a special bond, enriching my understanding of the diverse age groups I might work with. My experiences, both personal and professional, have shaped me into a compassionate, empathetic, and resilient individual. I pride myself on being patient, calm, and an excellent listener. I'm eager to provide support, be that smiling face, and extend a helping hand to those who may need it.
