About
I love working alongside people to find fulfilling activities rather than just things to do to pass the time. I have a large family so juggle many responsibilities well. I love to cook and clean and eat good food. I have a passion for connecting to people and learning more about their stories and past, I always find I have something to learn from my clients. I have experience working in residential aged care but sadly the facility I worked for closed down. I spent a few months at home with my youngest child and to complete my diploma of dementia care but as my little one is now in school, I am very ready to make some new connections while supporting older people. I love to cook and baking in particular is a passion of mine. I love to bake for others and I know that some people don't have this skill or need support so I would love to help others to bake things for their family and friends. So much connection happens over food so I think this is really important and a great way to express love to others.
