I wanted to become a Social Carer because I would love to forge connections with people in my community, experience new activities and learn about new things with them while sharing my own skillset. I feel greatly rewarded by being of help to anyone and am a compassionate individual who is sensitive to other's needs and comfortability in social situations. It would be a honour for me to form new friendships and receive mutual companionship as a Social Carer. I am a skilled oil painter and pastel drawer, I love to create colourful dreamy paintings of houses, rooms and landscapes. I am enthusiastic about cooking and baking, I particularly love challenging myself with learning new pastry skills and cake decoration. I have recently discovered a passion for birds and birdwatching and find great joy and a sense of peace from going for walks in my area and trying to spot new birds. I am someone who loves to both explore and meticulously research new activities. I love my community of Marrickville and love to find new experiences within it, from Tennis and Portuguese food at the Tennis Club, walks and bird spotting along the Cooks River, watching live bands on sunny afternoons at the Golf Club each month and picnics and sunsets at Henson Park.
