About
As a social work graduate, I am very passionate about helping others. I love to work with people and assist them in thriving in their unique ways. This belief motivates me to become a social carer where I can work and connect with different people, guiding them towards their personal goals and helping them lead fulfilling lives. I am approachable, empathetic, and outgoing, and I am always down for a chat. Additionally, I am respectful towards people's self-determination and I will always prioritise the client's well-being. Most importantly, I am a genuine person and truly care about what I do. All these qualities I uphold make me a good social carer. During my leisure time, I enjoy watching movies, going on leisurely hikes with loved ones, and picking up new skills. I also have good interpersonal skills and crisis management capacity. I graduated with a bachelor of social work degree from Hong Kong and am currently studying in year 2 of the master of social work program at Western Sydney University. I also have 8 months of experience working as a support worker where I worked with a wide range of clients with various disabilities such as intellectual disability, anxiety disorder and autism, etc.
