Hello! :) Telly is my name, and I am a social carer, a beauty therapist, and a part-time university student. I am at my happiest and feel most fulfilled when I am able to use my skills and knowledge to assist others. And some of my skills are beauty therapy, being organised, empathetic, sensitive, authentic, and friendly. I currently work as a mobile massage and beauty therapist for people with disabilities and for the elderlies. I've been doing this work for six years and I like my profession and receive positive feedback from my regular clients about the service I provide. Nowadays, I also dabble in work as a social carer because my heart is in helping others in other ways than in beauty therapy. I feel I am a great social carer because of my innate compassion, kindness, and patience for those who need help. I have Certificate IV and Diploma in Community Service, and I am completing Bachelor of Social Work. I enjoy my study as it teaches me about the human mind and behavior and how to best help those in needs. I joined Like Family because, first and foremost, I enjoy the name! And I'm hoping to be matched with people who I can help me that match my skills. I enjoy walking in nature. I enjoy a cup of tea or two, and I enjoy providing support inside and outside someone's home. I enjoy stand up comedy and love seeing live music particularly Blues and country music. I believe I posses great interpersonal skills and can encourage others with my choice of words. As it has always been my desire to uplift others via my actions and words. Lastly, I enjoy patting animals! I believe that social carer work will not only enhance the lives of the people I assist, but it will also better my own.
