About

Hi, my name is Narelle, I am a mother of three adult children, two of whom have grown up with health conditions. I have spent most of my life caring for my children and ensuring they have had every opportunity open to them. One child in particular was born with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, she grew up with mobility issues and many other health concerns. I am skilled at caring for others and ensuring they achieve their daily goals with satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. I would like to enable people to access their local community and engage in activities they find meaningful. I have always loved to bake. I enjoy baking for my family every week and would like to share this hobby with someone else. I especially love to bake biscuits, slices, and cakes such as date and walnut slice, banana cakes, fruit cakes, anzac biscuits, and vanilla cupcakes. I would help someone to complete this activity by assisting them with planning the ingredients needed for the task, reading the recipe, measuring the appropriate amount of ingredients, assisting with any heavy lifting or moving of hot objects out of the oven or from the stove, and most importantly prompting them to do the activity as independently as possible.
