I come from a large family and have always felt nurturing to all my younger siblings and because our family is quite social have also spent a lot of time with other children babysitting. I have a degree in Pyschology which I would love to gain experience with particularly with patients struggling with mental health and I also have worked as a Support Learning Officer in schools for the past three years. This job has helped me build connections with students that help me identify how I can help them grow and learn during their time at school. I feel strongly that all of these experiences and qualities show that I am determined, passionate, and that I would make a great social carer. ^& ^&There are no particular hobbies I love above others as I am a person that constantly loves to try new things, even when I am not the best at it. For example, I recently went to the snow for a holiday and took up snowboarding for the first time which is something I have always been eager to try. My first day I fell over numerous times and whilst one of my friends that was learning as well gave up and went inside for the remainder of the day I wanted to keep going and learning. I didn't care how many times I fell over because I was still having fun and I was determined to learn, so I believe I would share the skill of determination and being motivated with someone during any activity. ^&
