People and being surrounded by the stories of lives that should be told. I have elderly parents and in-laws as well as friends with children and other family members who have some challenges in their lives. I see how much doing simple things or even complex things can bring a smile to their face and make their day. I also know a few old clients who are social carers themselves and the stories of accomplishments knowing you give back is astounding. I think I will be good at being a social worker as I currently work as a Personal Trainer at Plus Fitness (@markjfitt) and have been doing so for almost 9 years now. Therefore I am always around people and work closely with individuals of all ages. I am often told I am empathetic and have a disarming nature. I am organized, I like comic books, going to the gym, going for walks, spending time with our dogs, gaming, being crafty. I like to learn bits and pieces of languages, movies, the arts, concerts, musicals. I like to travel when I am able and experience different cultures. My favourite colour is red, I was born in the city of Pines and although English is my main preferred language it was never my first. I am also a photographer and makeup artist who is great at organizing events and curating social media posts that promote people and their achievements. I like doing things that help give back to the community. This year I participated in World's Greatest Shave again but this time I grew my hair out for a number of years to be able to cut and donate my hair and raise funds for leukaemia research. Also our club this year is participating in a Christmas gift giving toy drive aligned with St Vincent DePaul.
