Hi, my name is Shamim, I am empathetic and passionate about assisting people when anyone needs it, instead of them feeling they are left alone. I come from a cultural background where we believe in community living, no one is left behind and lending a hand is a norm. I like connecting with people and being there for them when needed. All of us time to time require assistance and support in our working, personal or private life. Being able to assist without being judgemental requires knowledge, understanding and patience. In my working and personal life, I have assisted many and also have requested assistance when I needed. I have been fortunate to work and live in different countries, meeting people with diverse cultural background enabling me to listen, understand differing perspectives and learn various skills. I am an organised person with the ability to plan, problem solve and manage varieties of tasks and situations. I am looking forward to share my passion, knowledge, uplifting and bringing a smile to peoples life when it is needed. I can share my knowledge of Microsoft suites (word, excel, powerpoint etc) enabling them to use it with confidence. I can share my cooking skills either for learning to cook or prepare meals or meal plans. I can share my gardening skills in assisting someone to maintain their garden, flower or vegetables. Going for walks, hiking and jogging.
