Hello and welcome! Nina from the Philippines here. I'm 42 years old and the mother of two amazing children. It's a lengthy narrative and introduction, but I'm sure you'll come to know me by the end :D I am a working mother and an international student currently taking up Master of Teaching in Special Education. I am grateful to my parents for teaching me how to live independently at a young age, but also how to appreciate life and make the most of it. I learnt a lot of things as I grew up from school, life experience, and... I've finally discovered my life's purpose and calling. I thought that God had given me a heart and a desire to help others. It has changed since then. I am a cheerful and upbeat individual. I like making new acquaintances from all walks of life and keeping in touch with existing ones. I enjoy travelling anyplace with my family and friends, particularly to the beach or park. I enjoy aquatic sports such as swimming, kayaking, rowing and anything else that involves water:). I, too, am a big fan of small puppies. Milky was the name of our previous pet (Pure breed Maltese). My children and I enjoy helping her in any way we can. I also enjoy music. I enjoy singing songs, especially Christian contemporary, inspirational, love, and danceable music. It must run in our family. So, if you want me to sing for you or alongside you, I will be delighted! To keep my body active (albeit not every day), I always watch and do Zumba dancing at home or outside. It's a type of workout for me. Aside from that, keeping our house clean and organised is another type of leisure activity for me and my children.I let my kids pitch in wherever they can. It's more enjoyable when we do it together! :) I occasionally volunteer in children's activities at church or in our community in the Philippines, such as child feeding, bible study, and reading/writing. activities and a talent performance are planned. I love children! I like seeing kids thrive not only academically or in their God-given skill, but also in their understanding of the Lord. Volunteering in medical and dental missions in various areas/provinces in our own country is also one of my passions, because I get to experience situations and put what I learned in university to work. I also enjoy planning special occasions for my family and friends. It keeps my mind active and innovative in such things. I also think that traveling, whether with or without a companion, is a good way to learn about new things. And lastly, I love cooking and eating! :) Let's burn the fats later :D There is so much to say. but I'd love to share it with you in person:) Caring is shared! Always be upbeat and cheerful!
