About

From a very young age I was involved with the disability community. My grandfather was the treasurer of an NFP disabilty service. I spent my school holidays at the community centre with people of all ages and abilities. I was involved in art and craft classes, dancing lessons, day trips and overseas holidays with the customers, i also formed life long friendships with some of the participants. Being envolved in the disabilty community from a young age has taught me patience, empathy, compassion and given me a good sense of humor. I have continued my passion for supporting people for most of my adult professional life and pride myself on my resilience and desire to bring out the best in people. I have a passion for animals, small, big, furry, scales and eveything inbetween. I find dogs therapeutic and spend alot of my spare time with my mine. I enjoy fishing, outdoor activities, tatoos, family time and watching movies. I am open to almost every activity, anything from a cuppa and a chat to shark diving. I am a good listener and believe in honesty, laughing as much as possible and advocating for those who need it. I am honest, passionate about my beilefs, but also respectful of those whose opinions differ from mine.
