A little about me. Hi, my name is Abbey, I am 26 and I live in the Blue Mountains with my Grandma, whom I care for. I am a teacher -having completed a Bachelor of Education (Primary and Special Education) and a Master of Education (specialising in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have worked with Like Family in the past, when it was under the former name "Home Care Heroes". I have passions and ambitions to help, to teach, and to learn. I love meeting and connecting with people of all ages and walks of life. I am extremely compassionate and empathetic; caring, kind and fun loving. I am enthusiastic and positive about life and I strive to share this approach to life with all people I encounter. I love learning new things and I think everyone can be a teacher. I love traveling, sports, animals and nature. Through Like Family I am excited to meet new people who have different hobbies, interests, skills and stories to share.
