About
Im motivated by the idea of empowering individuals with a disability to be confident in living a life of choice. Theres an unknowing stigma placed on disabled that limits their confidence in doing everyday things, that ordinary people take for granted. I find great joy and passion in enriching lives of people with disability, from something as easy as helping them bowl their first bowling ball . I'd also like to believe that i am empathetic and compassionate and would will actively support and promote quality of life for people living with disability. I come from a strict samoan background where respect was ingrained into us since young. Ive had experiences with the NDIS support workers, most of my friends are in the field and i've realized how enriching simple experiences are to these individuals, and would love to be amongst it.
