I am passionate about supporting individuals to live their lives to their fullest and to create genuine connections. I am an experienced disability support worker who has worked with young adults and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and severe intellectual disability. I have experience with personal care and community access. I am in the final year of my Bachelor of Social Work degree at the University of Sydney. I am a passionate emerging social worker. I have completed two placements as part of my degree. This includes four months at Youth Justice, where I supported vulnerable young people involved in the criminal justice system. My second placement was five months, working in community mental health as a care coordinator within the older persons and adult teams. I have gained valuable experience working with people with complex mental health illnesses and distress. I believe everyone deserves to be heard and have the opportunity to be active members of their community. I have my WWCC and NDISWC. I have a first aid and CPR certificate. I am on my P2 license and have comprehensive car insurance. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out! 😊
