About
I have worked in public services for 16 years and owned a bookshop for 12 years. Now I am at a stage in life where I want to serve for people in need. When I had a book shop I have seen how a social carer use to accompany disabled people to bookshop and help them in finding the book, order for them and come to pick books up for them with them. If no social support was there then people those who need help would be complete house bound. I also cook food every alternate saturday for homeless people. I gives me a great satisfaction. I like reading, gardening, cooking and very passionate about about keeping my house clean. I also like making herbarium. I am very understanding and a very patient listener. Most of the time listening and understating to some one is most therapeutic for them. I am a very social person too. I am a grandmother to 3 year old and a 3 month old granddaughters. I like to play basket ball, badminton, tennis, walking and jogging. I can create and do activities depending on the clients IQ level , motor skill level and their interests.
