To be honest, I never thought about pursuing this career. I've always admired and still admire those who do, but I know it’s a job that requires a lot of love, patience, and respect. I've always gotten along well with people in general, and I've always had a lot of empathy, care, and patience, knowing that each person is different and that sometimes they don’t choose their circumstances. My mother has always told me about the way I care for and worry about others. I was motivated to learn more about this work, especially after my time in Australia, and a doctor friend of mine talked about my care for people and how I could use that to help others. I know this can sometimes be a bit difficult and that you don’t learn it overnight. I know I’m young too, but I don’t believe there’s an age limit for giving attention and love to others. I believe I would be good at it because I have that care and concern in me, and especially because I’m grateful for my life, my story, and everything I’ve experienced. I don’t have any official work experience in this field, but I believe that we are all capable of doing good and somehow making someone else’s life more pleasant and happy, no matter what it is. I have had some personal life experiences, like helping my mother with her depression after she lived with and separated from my father, who was and is a drug addict, and also my grandmother, who suffered from Alzheimer’s, among other situations where I knew how to handle and give my best for the person’s needs. I know these two examples, among many I have, may not be formal or count as official work, but they count as life experience and caring and loving others. I love going to the beach, parks, camping, and nature in general. I used to enjoy going to parties a lot, but nowadays I prefer something more relaxed, like watching series. I love watching the sunset and sunrise, and also having some time just for myself, with my friends and family. After spending a year in Australia, I'm also focused on continuously improving my English. I am Brazilian, and I am here in Australia to pursue my dream of experiencing new countries and cultures, and also to be able to provide something better for my family.
