I have the potential to excel as a Social Carer because I possess the capacity to comprehend and share the emotions of those under my care which is one of the fundamental components of delivering effective support. As a Support worker, I have great compassion, a sincere concern for the well-being of others, and a strong desire to positively impact their lives. Also, I have a high level of patience while working with individuals facing diverse challenges, because I always ask myself, what if I am the one living with these health challenges? This has greatly improved my patience and emotional intelligence while working with people living with health or disability challenges. Furthermore, I believe I will make a great social worker because I have the qualities needed to become an effective social worker such as effective communication, active listening, problem-solving, flexibility, respect for everyone, professionalism, client advocacy, cultural sensitivity, and physical and emotional resilience. ^& ^&I have been rendering person-centered support to different clients. I will apply my skills to support participants in their personal care, and community access. Also, I am always willing to drive clients in my car while supporting them with their shopping, medical appointments, and home care like medication administration, cooking, laundry, and cleaning.^&
