About

I have been very interested and wanting to find a job in the care aspect of work for a long time now! My main enjoyment when it comes to working is being able to make a difference in someone’s life and help someone feel less alone in any situation that made need help in. In many of my life experiences I would have absolutely loved a social carer and didn’t get one until very later on with these situations, seeing the difference in made when dealing with life problems and the difference it made to myself knowing I had the support when I needed it was amazing and I would absolutely love to be that for someone else, Preferably children but anyone who I can help! I feel this is more perfect than any other job for me. I’m compassionate, caring, able to listen about anything and give my advice where I feel necessary. I am only 18 but I am also the main guardian for my 5 younger siblings and have been through many situations where I’ve gained a high level of maturity, responsibility. Due to being the carer for so many children, coming up with activities to keep clients occupied and have fun, food planning, cleaning and more are things I already deal with and love to do, all of that along with caretaking come extremely natural to me. I plan everything in my own life beforehand and love organisation so coming up with schedules and daily plans will also be no issue! ^& ^&If my own life I’ve had many experiences with people who deal with mental health issues including myself so I’d love to share ways to deal with them like calming and coping mechanisms mechanisms, activities to occupy you and help you feel better, being there as someone to speak to about these issues and possibly can share some relation, and just help with daily life while also dealing with mental health issues. working with so many different NDIS clients with a big spectrum of disabilities and challenges they face, I’ve also found many activities that can help keep certain clients entertained. I’m very active and also find sensory games can be very enjoyable to some NDIS clients so introducing and participating with them is something I’d love to do! ^&
