I was employed by the Department of Health & Human Services in the Eastern Metropolitan Region – Disability Accommodation Service for 10 years in an ongoing full time house supervisor position. I am a loving , caring and friendly person. I lived with a family member who had disability in China for almost 20 years. My personal experience and my compassionate always inspired me to choose working with people as my career. I am a qualified mental health worker, with nearly 10 years of experience in providing life skills and support services to people have disability especially mentally and/behavior of concern clients while organizing programs to ensure achievement of client objectives and to improve clients’ quality of life. My ability to quickly connect with individuals and establish trusting relationships, along with my strong communication and organization skills, prepare me to thrive in this position. My previous work experience and current work have given me a deep understanding of social carer work.
