My deep love for working with people can be immediately witnessed through my work. I am open, warm and always love a good conversation, with a genuine curiosity and interest for others. Growing up with 2 siblings a lot younger than me, as well as with my grandparents, I have had a lot of experience assisting in daily tasks such as cooking and cleaning, and taking care of those around me, both young and old. As a 3rd year medical student, I have a solid understanding of health-related issues. My medical background provides me with the knowledge necessary to assist individuals with various health concerns, as well as understanding and empathy of what they may be going through with my experience helping different people in hospital. My personal experiences and my passion for providing support has cultivated empathy and an open-minded approach. I believe in listening without judgment, recognising that everyone has a unique narrative and journey. My genuine care and commitment in providing non-judgmental support form the foundation of my approach to social care.^& ^&I've always loved diving into DIY projects like sewing, upcycling, and arts and crafts —it's my go-to for joy and creativity. I'm super excited to share this passion with others in the community! First things first, we can chat about our interests, whether it's home décor, pottery, drawing, to find out common interests. I'll plan an activity that's not only fun but also practical and feasible. If the weather's nice, we might even take the creativity outdoors for a change of scenery. We can grab all the materials together, turning it into a little adventure from beginning to end. I'm all about bouncing ideas off each other and trying new things. So, it's not just a DIY project; it's a collaborative and fun experience for both of us. ^&
