I love meeting new people from different background. My name is Penina and I'm from a tiny Island Tuvalu in the South Pacific but I was bought up in New Zealand. I'm from a very BIG family and being surrounded by so many families I had all the help I needed so that is why I love helping people out just like my family members helped me out through high and low. Back home in New Zealand most of my family members works as social career for elderly and people with metal problems so that is why I always want to do the same thing here in Melbourne. I'm a happy outgoing person. I'm a down to earth person who just want to enjoy life and want to help other people feel loved, happy and most of all be there for them when they need someone to talk to. ^& ^&Helping someone out will be my skill that I want to share with someone in the community all because on my previous job I was dealing with customers and their superannuation and we have KPI's that we have to follow and all calls should me under 4 minutes. One day a call came through to me from a man who is 86 years old wanting to setup his online account for his super so he can access his account. So I asked him if there's anyone else near him who can help him out as he have to hop on a computer and I will direct on. He said no everyone is out and he ask me if I'm happy to direct him so I did. It took me 1 hour and 45 mins to help out this man. Everyone around me including my team leader where looking at me and trying to get me of the phone as I was more than 1 hour on the line but I know deep down that I have to do my job and help this customer out. Before the call ends the customer said to me "Thank you so much dear. I know you shouldn't be talking to me for this long but you have made my day brighter as I can access my funds and do everything online. Have a blessed day". ^&
