About
I am a people-person with a warm personality! I grew up in South Africa before moving to Australia with my family and am currently studying Occupation Therapy - in my second year at the moment. I love working with people and have found out of jobs I've had in the past, the ones I enjoyed the most having been in a caring/friendship position alongside someone - particularly working as a support worker or nanny.^& ^&Largely dependent on the skill/hobby being shared and the person, but for example if I'm gardening with someone who can be a bit nervous about new situations, I would talk through them what we will do/what it can look like before going and buying the plants, then just take it step by step and having fun along the way - always remembering that I am here for support and encouraging the person to be as independent as possible ^&
