About

I am excited to work with Like Family to assist individuals in their everyday tasks, and to provide companionship. I have worked with people with different cultural backgrounds, ages, and abilities. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work, and have a professional background in Graphic Design. I am able to provide lessons in Graphic Design or other basic IT skills, such as creating a personalised booklet, poster, or website. I have also worked as a farm hand where I developed a strong passion for organic gardening, floristry, and growing/cooking from the garden. In the past, I have volunteered as a cooking class assistant working with refugees, as well as teaching conversational English at a not-for-profit school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I really enjoy learning about other cultures and traditions. I have worked as a Disability Support Worker in the past, where I assisted clients with various tasks in and out of the home. I have varied interests from camping and the outdoors, to playing board games, to baking treats. I am more than happy to help out with any regular tasks around the home, as I find cleaning, repairing and organising to be quite satisfying. I am hoping to establish a stable long-term connection with clients, built on trust, respect and good communication!
