I love working with people. My oldest daughter was born with Moebius Syndrome which is under development of the cranial nerves. She couldn't speak or swallow. Rosa was peg fed and had a tracheotomy and communicated via sign. She was a high needs baby, child and teenager. When Rosa was younger I was a support parent with parent to parent as I felt the need to give back. Without support services especially as my girl got older was what kept me sane. I was on the school council for Sunshine SDS and my other children's school. Team manager for the kids footy team etc.. After Rosa died at 18, I divorced, moved to a new area I had to focus on me. During covid I was a volunteer with GEN-U Geelong talking to the elderly on the phone. It was fulfilling and interesting but I felt I should be doing more. I have acknowledge that I have had a difficult time but at the same time a blessed life. Through disability I have met some amazing people of whom I now call friends. It is only fair that I give back to the universe that has been good to me.^& ^&I love walking, drawing going to events. I love cooking and I am always experimenting.^&
